Being involved in the Nissan Delta Wing, which we took from ‘concept’ to racing at Le Mans in the space of about 3 months, was an amazing experience. The car had half the weight & half the amount of drag of a standard race car. With that it also uses half the tyres & half the fuel, factors which are hugely influential in endurance racing.

Max Coates, from Scorton in North Yorkshire, is racing in the Ginetta GT Supercup, a support series to the British Touring Car Championship. Max started racing in Karts aged 8 and graduated into car racing 2 and a half years ago. Max has raced in the Ginetta Junior championship for the last two year with three podiums in the 2011 championship. He then competed in the winter series finishing 2nd overall with a win and two further podiums.
